Dr. Matthew Breuninger is an assistant professor of psychology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He earned an M.A. in Theology from Ave Maria University and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Baylor University. Dr. Breuninger is a licensed clinical psychologist. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. His academic interests comprise the intersection of faith and psychology, psychology of religion, and virtue formation. When not teaching Dr. Breuninger can be found spending time hiking with his family or fishing in the local lakes.
