Thank you for your response!

Listening to Holy Mother Church, we gradually come to the awareness that God wants us to realize that not only could we be like the saints in the stained glass, but also that the path of real progress in personal holiness is not complex or hard to figure out — it’s made up of ordinary things. Daily small steps. Think of your day as it has gone, of the work you did, the people you met, moment by moment. What did it mean to you — and what might it have meant for God? How do you understand spiritual “progress” towards holiness at this point in your journey? It is a question of how do you stay close to others that God wills for you — an intimacy question. Who has God given me to love right now, today?

“Keep your intentions pure; above all desire to serve Me in the way I give you at this moment. Say to Me, ‘Behold the servant of the Lord, be it done to me according to Thy will.’ Unite your will with Mine in little things, constantly, all day long, saying over and over, ‘Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done.’ Do this faithfully in small matters and you will find it easy to unite your will with Mine in big things. Thus you will give Me your all, which is what I desire: your life, your prayers, your work, your play, your reading, your study, your walking, your thinking, your eating, and even your sleeping. At the base of all will be the simple, pure intention of living according to My plan for you.” – Clarence Enzler, My Other Self
