Dr. Gerard O'Shea is Assistant Director of Catholic Education (Mission and Religious Education) for the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, Australia. He is also professor of Religious Education for the University of Notre Dame, Australia. Gerard has worked in Catholic education for over forty years and has written numerous articles and books on religious education and parenting. He and his wife, Anne, served a five year terms as president couple of the National Association of Catholic Families. They have five adult children and nine grandchildren.
